The University of Oregon Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Facility provides a diverse array of magnetic resonance research capabilities for routine and advanced analysis of both solutions and solid state samples. The facility is located adjacent to the chemistry research laboratories in Klamath Hall in the Lokey Science Complex
The facility is home to five superconducting magnets equipped for walk-up solution state analysis of 1H, 13C, 31P, 19F as well as advanced techniques.
Multinuclear cyroprobes permit the high sensitivity study of virtually any magnetic nucleus, including 2H, 11B, 15N, 23Na, 27Al, 29Si, 77Se, 113Cd, 119Sn, 195Pt.
Indirect detection probes permit a variety of 2D and 3D techniques for molecular structure determination (e.g. COSY, NOESY, HMQC, HMBC, TOCSY, INADEQUATE) of molecules in solution.
Instruments in the facility are available to all qualified academic, research, or commercial users.
